I like having wireless internet that works - Economy Gastronomy watched in bed
As I can snuggle and watch iPlayer, I'm saving on heating as the central heating hasn't been on yet and it's September. I'm always cold too so this is major. I [strike]stole[/strike] liberated my friend's hooded top when he visited and it's really warm so I'm comfy and look cool :rotfl:
I'm about to go foraging in the freezer to decide what to do for dinner tomorrow. I'm thinking about taking mince out and getting Mr F to do his mince and tatties. Om nom nom. Costco/Homebase trip planned for the weekend as I have a 20% off voucher for Homebase and want to decorate flatmate's room when he moves out. We've decided to keep the house to ourselves for at least one month after he goes as we haven't ever not had a lodger (and that was some truly horrible grammer, sorry!) I suspect that poverty will soon have us advertising for flatmate's again though...

Have never had a lodger (live on my own) and am holding out against the idea - despite debts :eek:Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Hello!
Lots to catch up on in f_f towers as usual! Glad you enjoyed the wedding, and woo to your shiny new laptop and the new toy/bed/house for the cat (not saying da puddy cat this time - last time I said pu**y cat it was changed?!!) LOL.
Stole tomtombeanie's famous chilli recipe from your old thread and it's in the slow cooker as we speak (so will be ready for breakfast) :rotfl: I did it nice and early as I never have time in the mornings! Thank you tomtombeanie - I see you still post on here. Used 400g of mince and it is up to one inch from the top of my slow cooker. Lentils and porridge oats sneaked in too!
P
PS fingers crossed on the job front. Might not be as bad as you think.0 -

That being said, it's hard living with strangers and worse living with friends. I think we might accept that debts will take longer to clear and just enjoy our own space. I'll see how it goes!

I will find out about the job in two weeks :eek::eek: Not hopeful, but it could be better than I thought....
Made another big PAD from Mr Fresian's rebate today - £150 off my A&L overdraft which will sit at around £250 by payday. It's next on my debt-hitlist.
