George Pelacanos is my favourite author, a co-writer on the Wire and considered by Stephen King to be "the greatest living crime writer". If you like gritty American crime stories with fantastic character development then you should grab his books, especially at this price!0

I bought the George Pelacanos 3 in 1 a while ago when it was still £3 and it's now sitting in my 'to read' pile (which is currently about 4ft tall:eek:).
Surprisingly, although I shop in Asda I do read lots and lots of books! The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water
