CSA Review help

My sons dad at the moment pays me and another woman £25 a week each through the CSA. He married someone else last year and they're expecting their 1st baby, so this will be baby number 3. The woman he married already had a son from a previous relationship but he's not told the csa about him.

I'm trying to find out how much my payments will reduce by when the baby is born in october.

The CSA calculator says based on earning £250 a week, having 3 children and a stepson his weekly payment is £53.

Im just confused as to what I'll get now as before when it was just £50 I knew it was split 2 ways but now, if he does inform them of his stepson when he tells them about the new baby, I'm not sure how its split cos I'm sure I've read somewhere that the stepchild doesnt get an equal portion.
(I maybe wrong!!) The wife is also getting a full payment for her 1st son from her ex.

Can anyone please advise me so I dont have to ring the CSA:eek:
Thanks

    There's a calculator here:

    https://secureonline.dwp.gov.uk/csa/v2/en/calculate-maintenance.asp

My ex lives with woman and her son by another man, but my children lose out to the tune of £7 because of it. I don't think it's fair, because surely his own father should be paying? Oh well. Your ex is saving you money by not telling about the other child.

I think CSA work it all out on percentages - they deduct 15% of net income for the step-child living with your sons dad, and then work out what the other children should get as a percentage of that.

It will reduce by £5 per PWC per week. You take off 20% of the £250 for the children he has in his household and then take 20% of that and split it in half. If he doesn't tell the CSA about the stepson then it would be £22 per week each.
