  • Sarah - I really like that Monsoon one - I'm only 5'2" though - do you think it would still suit?

My friend went to the personal shopper at Debenhams for a dress for her duaghters wedding. She was on a limited budget and the shopper found her a fabulous dress and all the accesories well under budget, she was very pleased!

    Might be worth a trip??

I'm 5.3.... they do that one in petite so it would be perfect!

I kind of wish I'd got the petite now. I'm sure it would hang slightly better but bloody monsoon never have any in. Their website has it though.

I've seen one I like - I'm going to order it when I get home from work and then show you where I bought it from, it's a total bargain and don't want to find it out of stock between now and 7:30 because you've all gone on and bought my size haha !

aw I'm gutted - I went online to order it last night and it was out of stock (I couldn't even try a drastic diet as the next size down was also out of stock)

It was from Hobbs, reduced from £139 to £50 - oh well, back to the drawing board

sorry it wasn't good news :o
  • Aww - that's a shame. Keep on looking.

I've ordered the Monsoon one in petite - ordered two sizes to get free delivery and I will return one or both to the store if they don't fit.

Frugallass - quick - check out ebay - I think your dress in a size 12 is for sale.
Edit - oh - have checked again - not sure if I'm thinking of a different one (Maida) - do you mean £169 down to £50?
