Hello My friends,
i have been plodding along with the bankrupt caper for a good while now,
discharge due in oct!
i have however, run into a small problem,
aviva (used to be norwich direct) have sent me aletter saying basically, you need to pay your full years contents insurance upfront you dirty bankrupt swine!
i called (and because its not 500 plus, credit ) and did not state my bankruptcy, and asked why this was happening, after 6 years of never missing a payment..
the guy on the fone said "i dont know.." and wouldnt enter into agreement..
paying out 200 quid all in one is a bit of a struggle for me, as you can imagine,
SO!
any advice on good insurers that can offer help?

How very preculiar, I startred a whole new buildings, contents & travel policy with Co-op half way through my BR and they allowed me to pay in installments, however, they wouldn't let me pay my car insurance in installlments though, so I stuck with the AA, I'll try again next year.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
