how long for loans to be 'settled'?
I ended 2 loans about 5-6weeks ago. One with santander and one with FLM. I also closed an RBS account i had.
The two loans are still not settled, although the RBS current i closed on the same day was settled early last week.
I am really wanting to apply for a cc so i can pay off a stupid wf loan with the usual extortionate interest rate. And well im guessing i will have a better chance with these two loans marked as settled.
do i phone them up or just wait it out?
(patience never was my cup-o-tea)
