Moorcroft problems - help please

I recently requested a CCA from Moorcroft for an account they were chasing on behalf of RBS for a credit card I had 4 years ago.

Having sent the CCA request (thanks to the posters on this site), they responded saying that as the debt was not with them they could not send it and I would have to request it from RBS. What do I do??

Also they did not respond in the 12 days but later sent a backdated letter.


Any info needed just ask. Your help would be immensely appreciated.

Also should have said, despite refering me to RBS for the CCA they have continued to send threatening letters asking why I havent responded to their letters.

Hi smiley, I had the same problem with moorcroft, as it stated in the CCA request letter they should ask RBS not you as they work on their behalf. To be honest my credit rating was already shot so I just wrote a second letter to let them know they wouldn't be getting payment unless the provide a credit agreement or take out a court claim! that was 5 months ago and not heard since.

Thanks fluffy. Mine is shot too but would like to get it cleared up! If they produce a CCA i will find the cash from somewhere, if its unenforceable they can go jump. Had too many cheeky phone calls from them!
