I have some sad news from zoelikesjam - unfortunately she lost the baby last night so spent most of the night at the hospital. She's not feeling up to posting at the moment but she is lurking.

Piggers - she says can she have a sick note please?
Please pass on that I am thinking of her.

Well I have made some short crust pastry (posh stuff for a change ;), a la Jamie Oliver) to rest in preparation for the apple and blackberry pie (s) that I will make tomorrow, and am about to make meringues with the 4 egg whites (to have with strawbs and rasps that I got cheaply in Lidl). Also plan to make some blueberry muffins if my back can take it . Seems I am baker smurf indeed today ;).
    xx

Hi am new, can i join in. I think this is a fab idea and hopefully help me to get going again. I have very bad pnd (I ended up in a mental hospital pmsl u have a nutter among you)

    Ooh just the one? LOL

I have been to my sisters in Northampton and we stayed overnight...so I'm a bit late checking in and I shan't be cleaning as such, today.

BUT YESTERDAY MORNING BEFORE WE WENT I GOT UP, POPPED THE DECORATING CLOTHES ON AND TIMBER TREATED MY SHED (and me but it comes off if you scrub LOL)

it looks lovely and I am very proud of myself!

Hope you're hugged up Soappie and hope things have as good an outcome as possible Zara
