Damn, I was really hoping someone might have come up with a solution to the deep door storage hangers!

    Hi

I'm also in Manchester (we could start a group at this rate). I tend to use Aldi alot and also the Arndale market, there's a lovely butchers and fishmongers on there every day. I also work across from a small Sainsburys and have found that they reduce all their goods at lunchtime.

Ooh, which Sainsburys is that? The one near me is busy all the time and they never seem to reduce much apart from rotten tomatoes . We definitely need to have an OS Manchester group - any more takers?

I love that Arndale market - I've been so busy recently that I've not had time to shop anywhere further than round the corner, but that will change in another three weeks and three days when I go part-time...

You really can't have clutter so everything was kept to the minimum, I had no kitchen gadgets, just the basics and never more than one set of anything. I didn't stock up on spare food so by the end of the week the food cupboard was empty ready to be refilled and I had a slimline veg rack so they didn't take up any cupboard space.

You know, I'm actually enjoying the fact that we eat up everything each week - and it's amazing what you can cook with one wok and one veg pan, plus the Remoska. I'm looking at those veg racks - there's a corner just asking for one.
