Hi,
I am going to visit a relative who is a diabetic. He loves his food. Can anyone recommend a food treat that I can buy for him? He doesn't like chocolate. The food must be easily transportable as we will taking it with us when we visit him (overseas) in 3 weeks time .
Thanks.

my grandson is diabetic and nothing is really barred, he can have puddings some times etc its more like healthy eating, dont waste money on special diabetic foods, you could maybe make up a small hamper with foods he cant get abroad or some nice cheeses, whatever you think he would like0

Hi my son has diabetes and like twink said he can have anything but in moderation, get the things that they would like or don't have often for a treat.
My son likes eating fruit loaves ie banana. A selection of food would be ideal home baked foods etc.0
