There was another couple on here who were in a similar position. Husband ran all finances etc so they asked for a joint interview and were granted it because they said the wife wouldn't really be able to answer any of the questions. You can only ask! If you aren't granted a joint interview then all you can do is be honest and say you left all the finances up to your OH and you can only answer as best as you can. Relax!!! You haven't done anything illegal so whats the worst that can happen?
I was on this forum for over a year before my BR and I was so clued up on the ins and outs of BR that I slept really well the night before my BR and I was confident throughout the whole thing. It seemed just a formality going to court. Really, you will come back on here after the interview and wonder what all the fuss was about.

hi Money Penny.
I had my onterview with the or from leeds on wednesday.
She was really really nice, even though I forgot so many things (aome of my stuff goes back to 2003)
My telephone interview lasted about 2 hours which may be something to do with the fact that I am self employed. I now have to send a few odds & sods into the office, so expect I will be speaking with her again.
The interview was no where near as bad as I thought it would be. The or was not at all judgmental.
You will be fine hun

thanks for that the main thing i am worried about really is the fact that i gave my friend 1500 pounds back from a loan that was consolidated in my name.this was in january an col did not tell me about mess we were in untill april.i thought i had done right thing by giving my friend back the money she so kindly lent me.no thought of thre b.r. then.the o.r.will be able to trace this i gave her a cheque.however i havnt told my friend about our b.r.an i would dread her to find out by o.r.writing to her to confirm this.reason i have not tokd her is she a very good friend its not from embarrassment..its i know she would worry about us an she has enough to deal with.i know i sound silly an im acting immature but it was my birthday yesterday an she made a fuss of me an made me a cake an i just feel guilty by not telling her an then she be contacted by o.r. to discuss this...oh how i ramble but no one else to tell all this to apart from col who is worried enough. regards a nattering penny x0

You can only be honest if asked about it but hopefully that won't even come to light! If they do write to her to request the money back all she has to say is she spent it and cannot repay it. They cannot make her go into debt to repay it.
You did nothing wrong as you weren't/didn't know you were going to be filing bankruptcy 9 months later so the transaction was in good faith.

My OR was from Leeds but was a man, very nice and pleasant as was his clerk. Been very patient with me as I've been changing things so haven't signed anything yet but then again he is on holiday at the moment!BR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500

We went bankrupt in Leeds in March - OR has been very helpful - my hubby and I both had interviews and he asked which of us would know the most about the affairs first ( that was me)- so interviewed me first and then hubby! Very non judgemental and kind. I had a list of questions to ask so he asked me to ask those first - and by doing so we completed most of the interview. Even when I started to cry - more just to relief that someone was being nice to me, he wasnt phased. I have found they answer emails quickly ( if you dont want to talk to them) and clerk has been very helpful too.
Hope all goes well - and it really is a great relief when you get to this stage
