Wickes has a great offer of 5 energy saving lightbulbs for 49p - bayonet and screw fit and 3 different ratings equivalent to 40w; 60w and 100w.

  • Netto are selling Philips branded 9w and 11w energy saving bulbs for 10p each. I only spotted bayonet fittings but these tend to be more popular than screw fitting anyway.

Better make the most of these offers as they won't be around long anymore.

    Hi
Dunelm Mill are selling Low Energy Bulbs 99p each or 5 FOR 50p 11 watt (60 watt) bayonet type.
  • Anyone know if any of these bulbs give a blue light rather than a warm white one?
Sometimes it says on the box, but not always.

The only ones with a blue light I have seen are daylight bulbs. I paid a small fortune for mine. I have never seen them on cheapo deals or freebies.
  • Netto had some, they were marked as fluorescent on the box but they were also ionisers ie had double filaments and cost £7.99 each.
I was hoping that someone did ones that were just straight light bulbs but fluorescent
  • Robert Dyas have got Osram branded bayonet bulbs for 10p each, and the shorter Philips ones for 39p.
Again, no screw fittings - they were £2.49!
  • Morissons also seem to be doing the same offer. 5 bulbs for 49p or something like that (a cheap price). And i go to shop at Morissons fairly regularly. No screw fitting though.
  • Called in today, Netto has a big display Philips bulbs 18p each plus BOGOF ie 9p each
    11 & 14W available
States "In partnership with British Gas" on the box
Again all bayonet as far as I could see and give the usual warm white light
