Hi, I'm looking for a cheap and cheerful Injet printer colour and B&W.
Its only to be used for letters and printing stuff off the net, no photos or anything.
Cheap running costs are also a consideration.
Thanks

Hiya
There are quite a few cheap printers around at the moment. Im no expert but here is my advice.
Although Lexmark printers are really cheap to buy the replacemtent ink costs are extortionate! The Z615 that I have only cost a tenner but a the cheapest replacement cart that I could find was almost £20!
I actually looked at the past threads on this site to find some printer inspiration!
Last week I bought myself a Canon i350. It's very very basic but prints really well. Even though you dont want the feature the photo printing is excellent!
I paid £21 for it - brand new from eBay. Ive been printing massive photos and lots of coursework and the original ink is still almost full.
The best thing about this brill printer is that compatible carts are soo cheap. My mate has the same printer and her gets 5 colour and 5 black carts for just a tenner and the quality is as good as the original.
Good luck finding a new printer.

I have the canon i455 They are about £75 but are great on ink. I can get cartridges (copies) for less than £2 each and they last a long time. Quality is greatI'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
I'm not losing my hair... I'm getting more head!!0
