 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

there is spitalfields market on a sunday if you live near there ( they do very reasonable priced organic veg) i just go down on a sunday when i want some.
There is a box scheme that delivers to Leyton and surrounding areas but I cant at the moment remember their name..I will get back to you on this one the grey cells are not working properly this morning.....:)0 -
Right I have it now.
Fairorganics are based in essex and deliver to a lot of east London just not as far dowm as me but I am based more towards the city so you may be lucky. They are meant to be very good and I was gutted that I could not order from them. I dont think they do evening deliveries but it is worth checking. There is also Riverford again good but don't deliver to my area they do some parts of London so it is worth checking. Update on this, bad news, the Fairorganics website appears to be down, was fairorganics.co.uk but now just goes to a server page??
RIGHT!! Fairorganics are still in business but they have changed their name :j This is their website http://www.theorganiccountrystore.co.uk/0 -
There is also Farmaround, who have a stall in covent garden, they do deliveries, they may deliver to East London, i think they do.0

If you type your postcode into www.bigbarn.co.ukyou should be able to find the nearest organic box schemes and farm shops near to you.

I've no complaints about Abel and Cole
Very reliable and top quality fruit and veg - just dripping juice from my orange on the computer as I type.
You could give them a try - there's no commitment. 0 -
Lynz, your pm box is full so I could not reply to your message, here is my reply:
Hi Lynz,
As far as I know Green Ventures only deliver in the Peckham-Camberwell area, but you could try to ring them, or the one based in Hackney should be even nearer you, see this link:

If you have no luck with the community schemes, I would strongly recommend Farmaround, their veg is always very fresh and good value, but sometimes the fruit is a bit unripe.

Good luck!
CaterinaFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
No complaints about Abel & Cole here either. They even delivered today (bank holiday). Worth a try at least.0
