Been out to get littlen's toy with his pocket money from grandparents, so £9.99 for him, nothing for me!

'Just popped' into Matalans nearby and spent £24 on clothes for littlen - got 5 t-shirts, 3 pairs of shorts and swimming shorts.

Food shop - normally spend £15-20 max, spent £35.35  Includes 2 bottles of half price wine for presents though (£8).

Want to go and get hanging baskets and plants..but resisting the temptation! Maybe next weekend.

    Spent £20 today:naughty:
Went out with the aim of attending my job interview and that being it, but came out feeling so awful about everything that I blew some cash as an emotional punchbag and now I feel even worse than before.

Sorry all, am just feeling really blue just lately about the whole thing!

Aww ((hugs)) CAFCgirl. Hang on in there.

How did the interview go? Did you buy something that you could take back if you wished?

It might help to rant about things on here, then we can help you through it.

I hope it went better than if felt CAFCGirl - and good advice from Ali-OK about seeing if you can return any of the damage.

I'm just about upright again today, but OH now has the lurgy I've had for the last few days, so we'll be having a very quiet day with no shopping.

I haven't spent anything today so far! And I'm stuck at home with a stinking cold trying to get some work done so don't think I will be spending anything at all. I'm going to follow all the good advice on this board tomorrow and for the first time ever will leave my cards at home so hopefully won't be spending anything tomorrow either!
