to run, that a bank/building society will refuse to lend?
Cheers.
Mine has 66 years left...and want to put up for sale but, have been told that lenders will not lend to a property with a lease less than 75 years.
Is this correct?
As my freehold owner wants 3 K to sell it.

I have my flat on the market at the moment and i have 66 years left, 3 estate agents said it wont be a problem. The flat next door just sold for full asking price with 66 years left.0

3k is cheap - cost me 12k + large solicitors bill. That was to extend not buy and included an increasing ground rent.
I was told that shorter leases were expected in London than outside - but I would have thought even in London you should be thinking about it at 66 years. Think I was about that when I extended.0
