95% FTB mortgage with Yorkshire Bank

Options
Hi

I am a FTB looking for 95% mortgage. Have spoken to Yorkshire bank and they are offering 95% mortgage at 6.99. Are there any other lenders who do FTB 95% mortgages?

Also what is the lending criteria of Yorkshire bank. I do not have any CCJ's, Defaults or late payments on my Credit report. I want to Borrow 152K which is within max amount bank can lend (4.25 * Salary).

Thanks

  • I'm in the market for a mortgage at the moment and I've been told it's all 90% elsewhere. Just a quick question you seem to be borrowing the maximum amount you can will you be living alone? Dont forget to add into the equation council tax/utility bills/mortgage insurance etc that can soon add up to a small mortgage on it's own espically the council tax which might be band C will be well over £100 per month
  • Thanks for the reply. My main problem is deposit as i dont have more then 5% or else i need to borrow additional 5% from somewhere. If i go for 95% mortgage then i will be able to pay all the bills and save as well each month. But if i have to borrow additional 5% then i wont be able to save for some time.

Do not get a personal loan (from a bank or BS) for an additional deposit, since payments on this would be taken into consideration on your application.
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:
