    I got caught by a mini tsunami today..silly man speeding along the road rather close to the kerb and whoosh he hit a large puddle just as I was walking past..I got covered from head to toe in brown mucky water:mad:

    Driech is the word you are looking for Numpty! I know. I'm not sure what you are all complaining about. It's par for the course in Glasgow! Less so in Edinburgh, but standing your ground against the winds there can be tedious!

    nicca - I was about a mile from home so not so bad:D

    Have seen the forecast for the weekend peeps - batten down the hatches we have some rough windy and very wet weather on its way..it will batter the iberian coast with 100mile an hour winds before it lands on our shores:eek:

    Horace - thanks for the gloomy forecast - I'm fed up enough with the weather today without advance warning of 100mph winds at the weekend :). Hope you've dried out after your shower yesterday, I hope you shook your fist suitably at that charming driver:)

    You're right, Numpty, not much of a change for Scotland. I was talking this morning to someone who lives on the west coast of Scotland, at least a foot of snow there and it's still falling :eek:

    Oh well, at least the UK weather gives us something to talk about :rotfl::rotfl:
