I usually walk to the paper bank down the road to post my directories and cardboard but today I was just too lazy. I have given up with fleabay too and have been trying to get my money from paypal because the silly system wouldnt let me set up a bank account to get it paid into that:mad:

My furniture looks fab - I am a dab had with a screwdriver:j

Just had some news..the womens networking lunch that I had booked on for Friday has been cancelled so the £25 I was going to spend is staying in my purse:D

Me too Numpty, really annoys me when I've spent time answering their bloomin' questions and then get screened out :mad:
I do the one whose name mustn't be mentioned as well, also lightspeed VO and YouGov (nowhere near a payment with them yet, might just get there before I retire-some time off yet!!!). Got fed up with Ciao spamming me as well, Horace, got them on auto-delete now.

I never used the ebay account much anyway:o
a quick break downn of it

mam got a letter saying shehad set up a buisness account
(she doesn't know how to turn a cumputer on blah which is true }

I email ebay on her behalf , stating the above

she most have done, other wise she wouldn't have an account

she doesn't own a computer, have internet accsess, e-mail adress(why I was using mine)

Oops to the ebay account Numpty

My living room is very cold The snowed landed in Glasgow today and I can't use my radiator until the plumber comes to [STRIKE]fix[/STRIKE] replace it tomorrow (which is going to cost me £150 :eek:). I am resisting the urge to put the gas fire on, but my resolve is weakening!

I put another jumper on So it's just my feet that are cold now - but that's not so unusual .

And hopefully this time tomorrow I should have a shiny new warm radiator .

nicca get yourself some nice warm bedsocks and wear them, I have some and am wearing some now to keep my feet warm:rotfl: The snow has nearly gone from here and its warmer - I know its warmer because it has been raining today:j

I am not going to the business lunch on Friday now as it has been cancelled..so that's money saved:j

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

Thank you Horace, I looked out some ski socks (I've never been skiing,but ski socks are a fab substitute when you can't find your fluffy bed socks :rotfl: !) They are still on my tootsies now, even though I'm now curled up under the duvet and should be sleeping!
