Hi everybody.
Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.
What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.
If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.
what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?
firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.
The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!
It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis
PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
Kind wishes
P
Poor you - You need earmuffs Numpty - or to go out for the day somewhere? Or headache tablets lined up ready.

Hey all
Horace - I am a member of the library but haven't been back since I forgot to take the last bunch of books back on time and ended up paying a fine. I could have got them all at the charity shop for that price! Utterly ridiculous on my part too as the libray is less than 5 minswalk away!
SS - my walls were bulging woth books until I declutred, not there's only a couple of hundred books or so... though a growing list of books I want! Thank goodness for bookhopper website!
Tixy, it does eem quiet today! I was quiet earlier as feeling sheepish - went to sort out a gym programme and nearly passed out on the girl! Had to abandon it half way through to throw up! Oops! Not sleeping until 5am and then attempting the gym is a very silly thing to do people. I wouldn't recommend it.
So now using it as an excuse to do very littleTea and biscuits call! Tixy - you'll need to go swimming for me instead

Hi everyone
Sorry I went missing earlier and neglected my duties here - it was really bright and sunny today so I decided to take a trip out to do some shopping and got delayed... Spent loads more money than I intended as well:(:(:(:(:(:(
Numpty, hopefully the workmen have boogered off now and you are getting some peace and quiet?
nicca - oh dear to your experience at the gym, not good. Hope you're OK now. Well done for clearing out the books, I'm "thinking about having a clearout" - been "thinking about" it for a while actually, might get round to "doing something about it" soon:o:o
Hope everyone else is well - Friday tomorrow :j
Tixy - hope you're OK today? The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

For all who may need some peace and quiet - especially Numpty! If many little people, in many little places, do many little things,
they can change the face of the world.

Hi all - I have been quiet today because I have been at the Spring Fair - they had run out of bags:mad: and I had forgotten to take my freebie one from Monday. Did have one freebie a replacement spare light bulb for my lamp that I bought at the Autumn Fair (also had a secret letch at the male totty:D). Took part in some industrial espionage as a friend wanted a catalogue from a balloon supplier who wouldnt let her have one - so I went on the stand posing as a balloonista and got all sorts of information and a catalogue...went back and relayed to friend:D
I spent some money too - over £125:eek: - got the bomboniere machine for £55 instead of £77 though and will be getting loads of 'samples'. I will soon be making bombonieres, favours and selling silk bouquets and wedding postboxes. It is money well spent because with the machine I will be able to make 20 bombonieres in an hour:j Best go as I need to find a place to hire chandeliers.0 -
