Tea

Hi
Have been looking in for a long time and decided to join up today.
I have a tip on tea.
I found a very nifty tea infuser, like a little metal spice ball with scissor handles as I wanted to stop using teabags - they don't always break down in the compost bin quickly. It costs £1.99 and gets a lot of use.
And I found today that you can get 106 cups/mugs of tea from 250g loose tea at 67p. The equivalent weight in teabags = 80 bags - which you could reuse more than once - but if not that costs £1.29 at Tesco prices.
best wishes

You can get those nifty little things that look like an perforated egg on a chain from hardware shops. I need one and then I can use loose tea for just one cuppa at a time0

Hello Kiwichick
I got it in a kitchen shop in TWells, it's an independent shop so not much help to you. But as suggested one of those "capsule" types on a chain would work as well.
Hope you find one
