Change of circumstances.....how would they know??

Currently unwell at the moment, so have a lot of time on my hands to do nothing but ponder!

A question was raised on MSE this week regarding a change in circumstances when on a DRO. This got me thinking.........

If you were to have a change of circumstances, and did not tell the OR, is there anyway the OR could find out for himself??

With the fact that DRO's only cost £90, I doubt they spend too much administrative time on each case. Is it the case that when the DRO is approved, it is filed away, unless someone informs of a change which could invalidate the order??
I used to be Snow White, but I drifted.
