Hey all
Can I freeze leftover stirfry veg? Or can I cook it then freeze?
It's a mix of cabbage, beansprouts and carrots. It's the bag type you get in supermarket.
I've would have had stirfry twice this week already so don't wanna have it again for a bit!!
TIA

You can freeze it, but I think it will be a bit soggy and unappetising once defrosted. I might be wrong.
It would be OK for adding to egg-fried rice though or a Spanish omelette.0 -
I did wonder if it would be soggy afterwards! I'll save it til sunday and hopefully add to something I make
Thanks

rather than freeze it i would do a quick chow mein - just cooked noodles, finely sliced onions (if not already in there), your veg, garlic, ginger & chilli (if you have it) and some soy sauce. then you could put it in the fridge and in my opinion this would last a couple of days to be quickly re-heated or eaten cold for lunch.
