Help please.

Hello everyone,

I need a bit of advice, I left my job at the end of May and havn't told the OR, I have been paying my IPA, but I am at the stage now where I need to sign on the job seekers so I cant afford to pay it anymore.

The reason I left my Job was because I got offered a new job with the same wage, So I left my old employment and a week before I was due to start, the job fell through and my old employer would not take me back.

What should I say to the OR and will I be in alot of trouble with the OR?

Any help please?

No you won't be in trouble. You just tell him exactly what you have told us and he will be fine. He will adjust the IPA to suit your new circumstances, most likely will suspend it. The suspended months will count towards the 36 months of an IPA. You must then inform him when your circumstances change again. You should do this within 21 days.

No you wont be in any trouble with the OR,but you should have told them straight away so that your IPA could be suspended. Dx

Can only add what others have already said.

Call the OR ...obviously you have tried to pay the IPA & thats commendable but now you have no income left. Well done on trying to get through the last couple of months but this is a difficult job market.

Maybe make that call today Honey so that you are not worrying over the weekend.

    ORs don`t bite. (well mostly)
