Just thought I'd run this past you all..
I have been give a B rating on a loan for £1000 @ 17.9%.
Based on their questions I thought I would rate higher as I'm on a good income, little other credit commitment and have a mortgage, work full time,no defaults,CCJs etc.?

What would they take into consideration here in awarding a B rating?

Cheers

im led to believe that all of the ratings are above average. The ABCY rating are just for their use and do not correspond to any other rating
  • That's a cracking rate to be honest.

Remember, there is a £118.50 fee included in the APR. Borrowing such a small sum makes the APR higher due to the effect of the fee.

B is quite a good rating at Zopa. Zopa is a poor choice for a loan of £1000 because of the fee. Better to go for a credit card with a balance transfer to a current account deal, say the Virgin card. Or to use a card with 0% for purchases and spend as much as possible of your living costs on it to save the money you're after.
