Just checked online and I'm on there already! They don't hang about do they!!! Automatic discharge 27 August 2010, lets hope so eh
I rang your move yesterday to inform them that I'd been made bankrupt and sadly they said to give the OR their details and they'll wait for any dividends (happy waiting cos they'll be at the very bottom of the list) I was hoping they'd just go back to my ex for the balance (he's already paid half and they wanted the other half from me)...does that make me a very bad evil person? or just very bitter?

I bet that's a big weight lifted off your shoulders:j. Interesting I can find no record of me on there Do they remove you after you have been discharged?0

Ha ha ha, yam I did exactly the same thing and checked this morning - fame at last!!!
Seriously though, my or office is on there as blackpool too not liverpool so hopefully will get sorted soon.
Well done contacting Your move, I am tempted to contact the company that I have a joint loan with, or do you think I should just wait and leave it to the OR, its because of that loan I had to go BR.
Did you have a better sleep last night?

I did indeed!!Best night's sleep ever as Phil had already predicted!
My mortgage shortfall debt is the reason I've had to go bankrupt which again is a joint debt. My ex partner was adamant in selling the property whilst I wanted to rent it out until the market sorted itself out. As a result of his 'insistent manner' we sold it and ended up with a £20k shortfall. He's well off and paid his half straight away and they were chasing me for the other half. I'm relishing ringing them later to tell them that I'm BR. The first thing I did yesterday was send a text to my ex informing him of the change in liability. Maybe I was a little rash in doing that as the Halifax may just write off my 10k as he's already paid his, but I live in hope!BR as of 10:30am on 27/08/2009Proud BSC member #285Countdown to AD 27/08/2010"When you do nothing, you feel overwhelmed and powerless. yes I too am human (or bitter). I still can't believe that there is no protection for people suffering this after relationship breakdown. I would never have ended up here if it wasn't for him and it has had ramifications on my job etc. However it is done now and I am feeling more positive and wish everyone good luck with the rest of the road of BR.
