Hi all,
I wasn't sure where to post this so I took a chance and posted it here!! I've got a 6 and a half year old boy who would loved to start football training. I've been searching and searching for somewhere for him to do it but have so far only come up with places that are quite far away from my home. I live in the PL4 area. Does anyone know of anywhere fairly close to there?? Preferably within walking distance as I am unable to drive??
Thanks a lot, you would make a little boy very happy if you could help!!

I don't live in Plymouth, so I'm just going to suggest ways I've found football in the past.
1. through school - our primary schools all had after school footie clubs. Obviously also ask all the mums at the school gate!
2. through local churches - less common but the local vicar where we used to live was an ex-professional football player and very keen so started training for ALL the local primary schools.
3. local library may have lists / leaflets?
4. ask at local sports centres?
5. look out for leaflets offering local holiday football camps (but they are pricey, IMO) - they sometimes used to come home in satchels.
I also tried looking on the FA website, but their search didn't seem to work for me, maybe it would if you put your full postcode in?
A final desperate thought would be to phone Plymouth Argyle or any other local professional or strong amateur teams and ask them.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

It looks like you might be in luck but I would have thought you could find out more info at your son's school or your local football club.DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024
