Friday 28th August - What small DFW things have you done today?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
Morning All,
Yay, Friday (and a long weekend)
Hello to everyone who posts today. Hugs to those that need them.
Today I have/will:
• Checked online banking – payday so moved money over….I think they have sorted out my tax as it was a bumper paypacket!
• Virgin bingo scratchcard 25p, then won £1 on a scratchcard
• Meals from storecupboards
• Do the usual checks for jobs etc
• Have an LSD - will buy a coffee when I am in town
• Enter comps online
• Do lottery online
• Get my timesheet filled in and faxed off so I get paid next week
Think that is about it – take care everyone

Morning all - hooray, its Friday :j:j:j:j
Today I have / will:
Checked online banking (got paid - hooray!)
Moved redundancy money from old job to savings - I was keeping it in current account in case new job messed up wages - but they didn't. 'Redundancy money' in this case isn't a fortune but about the same as a normal month's salary. It meant that I would still be able to pay my mortgage and bills on time if new job did mess up
See to animals and plants (done am shift)
HM meals
LSD, just need to buy some red peppers for the roasted sausage and veg dish I am making tonight.
Try to do some housework tonight so not too much to do over weekend - it certainly needs doing as DD2 has been looking after a puppy for a friend who is on holiday this week - mostly in friend's house, but long enough in mine to totally wreck it
Have a nice day everyone :hello:0 -

Thanks to Candy for starting the thread and a big good morning to everyone else

Feeling very pleased today as I now owe less than £3k, have applied to do my professional cookery course (life change ahoy) and am going to head out an apply for a second, p-t job just as soon as Sainsbury's turn up with my groceries!- Scratchies (20p)
- Daily clicks
- All transfers completed (banking)
- Debts paid for the month
- Going shopping (cut my toiletries bill in half to £10, hoping to spend £5 or less), pick up any nice oopsies I see
- Apply for p-t chefling job (that's an inexperienced chef between you and me)
- Transfer money for university fees
- Try the delicious pork rillettes (think fancy pate) that I've been slow cooking since yesterday night and have just set. Ok, so that's not DFW at all, but it will taste good :T

Hello,
Still finishing bits and bobs from yesterday.
I did manage to put a plea on the forum for help but it has slided to the second page already. So HERE it is if any of you lovely people have any experience to share with me. Thank you."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
