My spend today was £40.60 on weekly grocery shop but OH sneaked some beer into the trolley, posh coffee and a fajita kit
Well, he is going to make the veggie fajitas at the weekend so, well, ok then fine. I would rather not buy anything in "boxes" IYKWIM but, it's not just me that lives in the house and I can't have it all my own way.
We also had two packs of tofu and a tin of beansprouts (don't shout at me lynz!), three soya milks & OH's deo...so no wonder it went up. I did manage to get some reduced baguettes for freezer for next Saturday's lunches. OH needed a toothbrush - Sainsburys do 2 "basic" brushes for 17p!!!! I have to use a posh soft little one of course...but he would use anything so that's fine by me :rotfl:
I'm really trying to beat down the weekly grocery spend but I am meeting resistance from OH.....I will perservere.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

I still have a box of unopened Oatsosimple plus my mum usually gives me a loaf of bread each week as it tends to be BOGOF, I get milk for her and do a swap. Plus I have breakfast at my parents at least 5 days a week when dropping off our son before work. Bran flakes are for my husband, I don't eat bran flakes. We will get some essentials like milk on a weekly basis anyway.
Oh and the salmon fillets were not frozen and I found them in the reduced section. :-)Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)

Too much! We spent just under £30 for entry into a Bank Hol show type thing, a ride for DS and my foster brother and refreshments. I'm gutted that we spent so much but my 2.5yr old had a great time. He said, 'I love this park'.Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0
