Yeah right. I'm 19 and I know better than that :P Blu ray is better anyway. Its the way forward.
Have you tried freecycle? And.. why do you want a betamax video recorder anyway? hehe*insert witty comment here*0 -
Thanks for the Freecycle tip - I'll give it a go
The Betamax is for a friend who thought it would be too rude to come on here and ask for it in his first post, so instead I did it with my eighth...lol
whats he want it for? Nobody knows...I'm hoping its for old Star Trek episodes, but I'm almost afraid to ask.....lol0 -
Ah, but I'd imagine there's something rather romantic and nostaligic watching them on the first format they were released on. You gotta love a bit of Star Trek
I have a few episodes floating around on VHS - my dad's old collection... though I'm not sure we even have a player in the house anymore.
A bit random, but there's a brilliant Futurama episode featuring the cast of Star Trek. Don't know if you're into Futurama at all, but its very funny and worth a look at. Eps called "Where no Fan has gone before" and its series 4.*insert witty comment here*0
