Csa Arrears

Hi All,

I'm just after a little bit of advice, I have had a case with the csa for 9 years now with my ex-partner and the csa, it took 7 years to put a assessment in place of £12-50 per month my ex was self-employed, the csa compensated me for the loss of maintenance i didnt recieve due to their mix up.

Roll forward a year my ex's business has just folded and i recieved a new assessment which is nil.
As i'm on IS i informed them there was a change in my circumstances and they asked that i sent two bank statements showing last recieved maintenance,in between income support asking for these statements i recieved another assessment from csa my ex has now been re-assessed at £24 and with £6-51 arrears weekly.

Ex didn't pay on the due date so ive been constantly on the phone 2 csa and a payment has finally been made for £12-51 that's less than half of what i was due to be paid and, he still owes 2 weeks which he never paid.
I have informed IS that i didn't recieve the correct amount, now they say i need to phone every week with amounts that i hopefully recieve.

The csa are fobbing me off saying just keep checking your bank account ive asked if they will put a DEO on his wages, but all they say is enforcement officers are watching the payments he is making.

In the mean time my family are now x amount of pounds a week down and we are feeling the pinch a little bit.

Can anyone give me advice how to handle the csa now, i would be so grateful,

Thanks.
