is this normal?

had call from OR clerk, she went through my assets and my bank accounts and then said that an examiner would ring me within the next few days as this is not a particularly straight forward case (think this could be because of the house being in my ex partners name and the joint loan being secured on the house which now has a repo order on it) is this normal?

Cheers

L

thanks Phil, I think I am a born worrier. Is an examiner an Official Reciever or is that another step up, the lady stated that she was the clerk and that it would have to be passed to someone with an examiner grade, also when she started the call she said I would be passed to blackpool office, but by the end of it she said it may stay at liverpool because it is not straightforward. Really scared now, although she did tell me not to worry.

Try not to worry.....clerks usually take initial details just the basics..the examiner is the person who deals with the day to day stuff more in depth finances etc they then pass the details onto the OR to cast an eye over..Usually you'll very very rarely speak to the OR themselves (I did at liverpool though..really nice guy very informal). The backpool office usually deal with cases from busier offices to help take the strain..BUT its for your benefit really if they said it'll be dealt with Liverpool (saves you a trip to blackpool should they need to see you)

Dont worry about the Liverpool office...they were brilliant with me while & after bankruptcy...
