Personally, I wouldn't give the mortgage company your new address. Are you having letters re-directed to where you are now? If so, there's no need for your mortgage company to know where you are, as I have read on here, once you go BR, the OR, will take all this into there own hands....your mortgage company can't ask for it, as they won't know where you are, unless you contact them, well as I am aware, although more experienced people on here, could answer your question better than I can :)

    Best of luck anyway.

I would have everything forwarded so you know what is happening. The mortgage co. can chase you for the money until the house is sold and the debt becomes unsecured and falls into your BR.

I have been out of my house for 5 months and haven't told the mortgage company where I am. Still no word on the repo. I pop by every week or so to pick up my mail as I've not set up a mail redirection.
Anyone know how much the Royal Mail charge for that service?

The mortgage company will get a report to creditors from the OR which will have your current address on it
