I've tried this and I too have metallic black car , I use it after washing the car to remove the water marks and it does shine better after using it but as soon as it rains you can see the water marks all over the car.

I've also tried Lucas Slick Mist and IMO it gave a better shine than the Demon Shine.

Already have some of this. Luckily it was free with a car magazine subscription. Would not want to pay for it, it is just like pink water and doesn't seem to do anything. I am certainly not impressed.
