Hi L
Well done on getting through today....a necessary step to get your life back. Hope you are managing to relax Honey & that the `numb` feeling is subsiding a little.

Thanks for those very kind words angie, unfortunately I am one of those neurotics who won't relax til I have had my dealings with the OR. Although I do recognise that it is another step forward and won't be long now!!

hi from somebody who went through what you did todaymine was 4 years ago i remember mine like yesterday expect a letter in next few days from the official reciever stating a time and date for an interview most liekly it will be over the phone interview over the phone with the official all i would say is be honest open and answer all questions fully be on your own when he or she calls remember your court number its your unique refernce not only for today but whenever you need to contact the o.r office the telephone meeting or face to face mmeting may last a hour to several depending on your circumstances after the call remember their will be lots of post from them my advice is answer it all fully and return it asap any assets you had pre to today are gone minus the clothes on your back and personal belongings and thouse of your family i.e kids toys clothes household items i.e appliances are unaffected by yoour bankruptcy order your car maybe if under a certain age but the O.R will discuss this during the interview as for bank accounts you ll need to get a new one set up asap wages to be paid into etc etc i found abbey national a good start when undischarged they will give you a cash card only account that allows direct debits and standing orders but nothing else then after bankruptcy discharge has been granted by the O.R natwest will give you a debit card account with a solo card only i hope this advice helps you trat todays as a new begining a life experince ok0
