Only about two weeks, but it was with the instant win Galaxy comp... Have only been comping since May and no big wins yet, but most comps have long end dates. Try the instant win/daily ones... that's where my best wins have come from so far :D

no wonder this topic does come up every now and then :)

It really depends on various aspects like the demand for competitions you've chosen (more worthy the prize..more the demand), number of compeitions you enter per day/week.

Finally: How LUCKy you are... which is very important.

Considering the member count, there are lots of ppl who haven't won anything.

Personally am entering since more than a year (competitions, instant wins etc) and haven't won anything valued more than £5.

    Good luck and keep trying
No wins yet but you guys are :A

  • It depends....

I've been entering comps since I was about 8, with Mizz and Shout magazines, but only been a "serious" comper for a year or so.

I literally never won before I started to take comping more seriously but now I am lucky and the hard work is paying off and the wins are starting to roll in. You do need to put effort and time into it to reap the rewards really.
  • I entered between 50-100 comps a day for 8 weeks before I received my first prize - a body polish from a magazine. Wins have increased every month since then.

It depends on how many comps you enter, how many prizes there are for each competition and just generally how lucky you are.
Thanks to all who post comps!
