Credit File Clean Up

Hi All,

I will shortly be following the information from here to make sure my file is clean. I was released from bankruptcy on the 10th August. Is this information up to date?

Should I wait for the creditors to update the credit file or should I just write to them in the mean time anyway to make sure they get it right?

I am certain that if I downloaded my credit file right now it would not have been updated yet by any of them so there would be little point.

Should I also write to the debt collection agencies who have been passed my details?

Thanks all!

Emby

Hi Emby and congratulations. I would give it a month or two before starting the clean up - this will give ex-creditors time to update your file.
