Cancelled CAB app

Had an app this Am at 10, bt on getting up early, and sorting all my paperwork out i realised it was a video link appointment, and it said if i had wanted a face to face app in the next town to ring, so not being happy not speaking directly to someone i have cancelled, but in the meantime i think i am going to start filling the forms out online...can anyone point me to them please.
So i may need to ask a few questions...one for now is when doing my SOA do i need a certain amount of money left over as my initial SOA was a little tight and needed tweeking, ie i can lower diesel amounts or grocery a little, whats the average needed left over fior a family of 2 adults 5 kids

There is a guide to bankruptcy on the front page of this forum. All the links to forms etc are there.

Morning...
all the needed forms to do online are here https://www.insolvencydirect.gov.uk/isolv/
and as always ANY questions ask away...one tip though IF you decide on filling in online make sure you SAVE the details often..sometimes the pages can be touchy meaning if you didnt save you could loose data
you still would need to speak to someone though...the judge will ask day of bankruptcy if you have taken professional advice...sadly we dont countWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -

Thanks once again...not got past the first question yet lol, it asks for other forenames, and surname, is this that you have previously been known by, ie maiden name....in my time i was single, married, went back to maiden name then re married, so do they need all my past surnames???
Or does it just mean any other names i am known by now0 -
yes i strongly agree with phil, save save save as i didnt realise and when it came to typing the cause of BR i spent ages typing and tweeking and it all disapeared:eek: was not impressedIf you want to see the rainbow ,you gotta put up with some rain0

Wow, i havnt done much of the form, bit had to give up for now, and need to go in search of my original loan details, and some credit card details.....cant recall original dates they were taken out.....and if i used credit cards for bits and bobs over the years how do i say what i used it for....could i just put houshold/living expences and consolidation for loans as this is generally what they were used for anyway.
Also need to ask re the bank account section, it says put the bank accounts held within the last 2 years, so the account i took my name off whoch was joint needs to go down...yes....and what if i cant find the info i had for my old abby account i closed down, i am really concerned i am going to miss things then it be looked upon that i have meant to miss them, when theres just so much its hard to recall....damn maybe i should have just let CAB sort it all.
Also i opeed a Barclays account on monday as i needed an account for my tax credits and fam all to go into, will this be frozen and i wont get to my money, i explained to them it was needed for after bankrupcy, its a basic barclay connect account, but had a debit facility on it.
Think i could just sit here and cry to be honest0 -

The examiners are used to peoples financial affairs being a mess and complicated and anything you forget and remember later can be added later and even if you forget something and the creditor comes after you at a later date you can tell them to foxtrot oscar as it will be included in the BR anyway..damn maybe i should have just let CAB sort it all. I am a great beliver in doing as much as you can yourself. Then you know what you have put down and can talk to the OR about anything. Ask the CAB to check the forms after you have finished.

Just make sure the account is empty on the day of BR, so you have your living expenses etc.

I know this is easy for me to say but you won't feel like this for ever. One wise soul on here compared the process like being on a rollercoaster, you have your up and down days and your highs and lows. When you are feeling down post on here and some one will comfort you. This is not an easy process but you will come through it and be out the other side. Where do you want to be in 13 months time? As you are now or starting a new debt free life and living it rather than just surviving. Have a read of Dolly Rockets post, she was AD'd today.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -
