Ooooh how exciting - what's it for?
    df

Assistant tax manager for a mid tier accounting firm... much the same as what I was at before but looks like there'll be much more independence as the management structure would be me (like the positive thinking?) a senior manager then the partner.

If I get it my redundancy pay will turn into a big fat bonus as opposed to a lifeline but I am slightly bummed at the thought of giving up time with Nathan. Ho hum. Never happy some folk eh?!

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Thanks folks:o feeling a bit nervous at the thought. I now need to familiarise myself with the firm, find some pertinent newspaper articles and catch up on the 2009 budget by 10am Tuesday...

Don't worry about it, I'm glad you've found something. :) What's happening to me is my own fault and no one else's. I am working and I still feel like I've wasted the summer. I don't even seem to have knocked that much off my debts. I wanted to have cleared my Halifax c/c by now and be onto the Lloyds one. I've got next to no chance of being debt free (overdraft included) by the end of uni at this rate. That's provided I even get to finish uni. :(

Ok, enough sulking for now. I've just finished the section on Wallis, I'm now getting dinner ready and going to work. I've only got to write up the rest of my week (about one paragraph) and then waffle about ethical issues for the rest of the word count. I'll talk to you all after work.

I know how ppl feel being out of work and being demotivated. Ive not been working since the begining of May and since then life seems to have gone up and down so much. Ive finally got a start date for my new job on the 1st Sept and I just wanna get back to work. Tryin to get rid of debt when theres nothing comin in just doesnt work. Plus we want to be able to save for a deposit for a house which I know is going to take forever but im willing to put in as much work as I possibly can (ebay, car boots and anything else I can find as the new job will just pay the bills)
Good Luck to everyone who is lookin for a job and trust me, hold in there and rant and moan on here as much as you want, im sure everyone here can take it!
