Hey just wondered if anyone could help me I am currently on maternity leave but have taken on an evening cleaning job which is paid into my bank ect.
Will I be taxed on this?
I only earn 6.25 an hour and do 10 hours a week x

We all have a perosnal allowance of just under £6.5k per year. If you earn more than this (and that would include any maternity pay you are receiving) then you pay tax on it. Your hours and your rate are not relevant as such, it is your total income that is relevant.0
