I bought some hair extensions from Sally's today (the wholesalers - but anyone can buy from them) £15.00 for 18" extensions with clips. Don't buy the ones which you have to glue in - fine until you want to get them off and it is like tar!! If you look on e-bay they also sell hair extensions.

Sally Hair and Beauty is a chain - can be found in a lot of larger towns and cities. If you check yell.com for Sally Hair and Beauty and your town name you may find a local shop.

Gosh don't hair extensions really damage your hair? I was talking to a hairdresser who have started to do them, and her daughter really wanted to be a model for them but there was no way she'd let her as they really thin and damage your hair.

I bet your hair looks fine teenage_Drama, it will take a while to get used to it but once you experiment with different styles etc, I'm sure you'll like it more.
Plus summer is on it's way and hair grows a lot quicker in summer due to the extra vit D.

Here's an article to help you get some info as I'm no expert!!

    Truth about hair extensions ;)

  • I bought some clip in hair extensions on ebay for my wedding.

They are 20 inches long and there are 7 pieces, all different lengths (1 7 inch, 1 6 inch, 2 4 inch, 2 3inch and 2 1 inch pieces). You part your hair and attach them with tiny little hair grips. They are very secure, and once in place you can't see the clips at all.

Obviously your friends know that you have hair extensions, but they look natural and strangers can't tell the difference. I have human hair extensions, and you can dye them, curl them, use straighteners, anything. You can sleep in them as well if you tie them up and maybe put a hairband round your hair, just to keep them nice and straight (although truthfully they take about 5 minutes to put in).

I wash mine with a bit of baby shampoo then leave them to dry naturally. They are brilliant, and I really recommend them. My hairdresser recommended them, as the glue in/weave in type absolutely reck your natural hair, and can also be painful and look awful.
