I have went onto experianand it says it only free for 30days as its a trial.
I am thinking of remortgaging soon and want to check before hand but dont want to spend loads on experian. If I use the free trial and then dont remortgage for say 6 months would I be able to then use there free trial again?
Basically, does anybody know ways of avoiding paying to know your credit score? I think it seems a bit unfair that we need to pay to see what details companies are checking us against when its our own details! Here to help and be helped!0 -

I dont think you will be able to. Then again i haven't tried that so cannot be sure.Basically, does anybody know ways of avoiding paying to know your credit score?
There is no way of avoiding to pay to check your credit score. This service is only available if you pay.

You can pay less if you are willing to download and print pdf and send off form. Costs 2 quid.

Hmm that said, not sure if it's your score or the report that you can get for free during the trial period. proably worth a call before spending the 2quidSunny2good wrote: »Totally agree with that0 -

No, for £2, you only get your credit file. When you sign up for a free trial, your credit score is not visible to you as its a separate product. You only get to see your credit file.
Getting your credit score is expensive. last time i checked, equifax were charging £14.95 for it, while experian also charge a similar amount.0
