Well done Katie & melvis on your wins! :j :j

Ami...you could try game although you get more back if you are buying another game. I asked today for a price on a trade in, they checked the current price which was £30 and offered £16.80 in return (towards another game) but if I wanted cash it was only £10.80. The game was brand new and not opened so I decided not to.

((hugs)) gemma hope you're feeling better after your drinkiepoo's! :D
    Night gc xx

    well done katie and melvis:j

well everything sorted with hols, its all paid off now and can chill a little:D there are some really unhelpful people on the dibb (florida site):( asked for advice on lo as he cried most of the way on the flight last time and it turned into a heated debate on what age to take kids, some saying that young kids should not go longhaul til they are over 7! some of the attitudes is just shocking:mad: it is now 7 pages long and am not posting on it again, on the flight before i had to cope with horrid comments cause i couldnt get lo to stop crying, he was 2 at the time, dh is all relaxed but im not:(

not done comps since mon afternoon, so better catch up

ooh and ds2 is 10 today:j loved his pressies, pick up cake later and he is getting his mattress today delivered (not a pressie lol)

then got diabetic clinic for ds, hope his hba1c is not up again, got a feeling it will be though:(

    gemma, hugs hun xx

have a lucky day all xxx

ppd, re flying, we've flown to spain, and lapland hun with my two, and have had very few probs. I don't think theres a age as such. Just popped over and read it.

I take sticker books, puzzle book, doing type stuff, iyswim, very young aged dot to dots (wilkinson do a 1-10, and a 1-25 dot to sot book), and a Vtech smile for ds with a leapster handheld for the dd. tbh, I think a tiny would get bored with a ds very quickly as they just can't quite understand it themselves, whereas the Vtech and leapster are aimed at very young ones. The games for the smile start right from just matching and chasing colors, while both consloes go on to following/matching numbers, letters, simple sums, etc. It always amused me at my kids cllubs when the other 4, 5 &6 yrs would abandon their ds's to borrow my 2 leapster and Vtech. To the extent that they nearly all ended up with their own one as well. You can get normal type game for both, disney and cartoon characters, and can pick up bundles quite cheaply on Ebay. But there was a great Stars game and console reduced to £20 in Argos last week, so maybe check your local stores.

Some other ideas we use now, mps player with music/stories on, plain pad for them to write in, animal snap cards, stick of rock for kids to suck on while take off/landing, some good lucky bags in Home Bargains atm, comics, etc. we also play mental word and number games together, what numbers after 6, before 9, 1+1... How many words can they say staf=rting with the sound guh (g), what sound does Dog start with, etc sorta school type but engaging for kids games.

Don't worry about Dibb hun, you got us, ((((((())))))

We drive to Disneyland Paris now and thats quite fun, lol. Off there again in 7 weeks for Halloween.
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx
