    Morning all,

Happy Fireworks night, hope you all have a great time.

I'm starting to make my food for tonight.... Going to make a Cheese and Potato Pie, homemade tomato soup, hotdogs... Can anyone think of anything else???
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly :)

    Oooh!!!

Lots & Lots of chocolate, please Mamzie!!!

Seriously, have you made some sort of hot drink? I make a variation of mulled wine, heating up apple juice with cinnamon sticks, cloves, some mixed spice and a bit of orange juice, so kids can drink it. And lots and lots of hot chocolate with cream - yum (need chocolate today, I think!)

Better get off out. DS has forgotten his PE kit and he'll have to wear girly shorts if I don't take it up to the school. Also got to go back to firework shop to collect my 'Alien Attack' firework and sparklers.

Postie's just been. Nothing (although he brought a Guns & Roses guitar book which I bought on eBay and was waiting in for - hopefully DS may practice a bit more now he's got that and some Metallica ones ;))

ps. Found this smiley yesterday - really like it ;)th_smiley_redXgunman1.gif

Quick and easy dessert is to bake apples (cored), filled with mincemeat - just bake them for 35-40 minutes. If you cut round them with a knife first, they don't explode in the oven.

(from my slimming world days, btw!)
  • Just sorted out my travel insurance for my hols £54 but i am covered for all pre existing med conditions which is good.

Shattered today but am getting my hair done tonight! xx

Bet you're really looking forward to it kkk!

You really need the break at the moment, pleased you're covered for med conditions (they won't touch mine with a barge pole, apparently, so I'm very impressed with that). You'll have to tell me which company you use, please?

morning everyone hope you are all well. Really hope we all have a lucky day today. I know what you mean melli I feel the cold a lot now and even with the heating on I often need a fleece as well doesn't half increase the fuel bills.

Need to catch up on the comping as we tried to change the box from bt yesterday and it made my pc through a real wobbly took ages to get back on then this morning it went and did it again hence the time.

Have a happy lucky comping day all.

ohhh, thanks Melli, will make some hot squash and hot rice milkshake as well, nearly forgot that. I am stuck as dd can't have fruit Juices (too much sugar), and tend to avoid chocolate as thats another she can't have..

Do you mean fruit mincemeat or meat mincemeat, I always get confuddled with them.

  • Ooo, all this talk of bonfire food is making me hungry! How about some sort of sausage and bean stew (or maybe just beans and sausages from a tin ;) )?

Edit: forgot to say - morning all!
