Hi!
Half term so been dashing about a bit madly! Been to get my hair colour done this morning and come back in to see my wording of a competition has caused confusion, since it was put in the mailingHopefully all fixed now, but apologies to everyone who's coped with it being bumped about
Won a couple of things in the last few days. One from my own post - a Nigel Slater book is on its way for my Mum's Christmas (I even put on the OP that my Mum wanted to win it, so really pleased!) and a couple of Fantasy books have arrived for my OH (I need to put a post on IWIWIW to thank Midnighter for those).
Spent a few hours at an ice cream factory yesterday (another win from a comp I posted - not sure how I managed that!) and now have a freezer full! They arranged the visit for the hols so my DS could go along, so it was great. Need to get some exercise in though, if I'm going to eat so much of it
Hope everything's good with you today kkk! Pleased the aquafit was enjoyable! I used to enjoy going to aqua classes, but imagine it will be different (and harder work!) with your physio.
Have you found out what the red card was for wingobins? Hope dancing comp goes well today
Hope everyone else is having a good and lucky day! Have a nice time at your Mum's Tulip.
Off to catch up on comps, grab a quick lunch and then go into town to get some bits to finish off DS's Halloween costume.
(been very quiet in here lately...)0 -
Yeah i loved it - was really hard work but i need it - even though i am suffering today i soooo needed it!
Have a good day - hope you are ok too xxxFriends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.0 -
just a flying visit to say thanks to everyone for the kind words and thoughts, my dad finally had his MRI last night and this morning he was told they were clear. Still a little worry over his lymph nodes as tests showed something was active but that's nothing in our eyes compared tothe possibility of the tumour returning. He's getting discharged Friday apparently, my mum's so happy
hope everyone's well

Katie - it's a Mulberry!!!! Soo excited as I have always wanted one (huge handbag lover here).
I used to do deep water aqua aerobics - you workout in the deep end so you arms are also underwater and you are kept afloat with a, erm floaty type vest (if memory serves me well) lol. Your feet do not touch the bottom. V good workout for the entire body.Thank you all who post.0 -
