This must have been really hurtful, and I know that it is not easy to make sense of things sometimes. But let me tell you something, some men (and women) get taken by the *novelty* and thrill of new relations. These do wear off ..

Keep your chin up. As hard as it may sound, you have to focus on*you*. Please also stay with friends and family over the Christmas/New Year period if you can....Can you not have a girls' night out? :cool:

A job will also do you good: new atomsphere, new people, less thinking. Can you apply for jobs now?

Redbull, I just wanna give you some hugs. Sounds like your going through a pretty rough time at the moment.
There's a thread somewhere on this forum where people who are going through similar things to you are supporting each other. I've searched for it but can't seem to find it.
Just want you to know, there are others going through what you are, even though you probably feel totally alone.
There are people out there that can help you.
And if I find that thread on here, I'll let you know.

Hi Redbull. Just thought I would give you some hugs sounds like you've been through the mill a bit.

It takes quite a long time to get over something like that especially if it was a sudden thing.

You really need to find some interest outside the home that don't cost too much. Have you thought of doing some voluntary work for a few hours a week to try to get back into the swing of things and meet new people even if only a chat in passing?

If it's any consolation I have been divorced twice. the first was vey bad and it took me about 2 years to recover as it hurt so much.

Try to focus on the positives rather than the negatives.
