Morning - lovely and Sunny up here in the Dales!
Internet has cut out half a dozen times already this morning - it must be a Tiscali fault as I can connect "locally" fine...
Hope it stays online long enough to get my fourth Crunchie!
Good Luck everyone.

morning all, just a quickie as I have loads to do for hols...
I just wanted to let you all know that sadly neither Catrina or Llewellyn have made the final 30. We are very proud that out of nearly 5000 children they did make the Top 100, with your help. Can we say a big thank you for all your support and votes that you have given us.My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly
Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx0 -

Hi TryingtoSave and welcome to the boards - there's actually a discussion thread, where we talk about things like this (although some people seem to ask about it in the IWIWIW section).
I'm not sure how many you're entering, but even those of us who enter 150+ per day have dry periods (I can think of at least one regular forum member who's had a long 'dry spell').
It's just down to luck, really. Make sure you do the 'regulars' (those in daily and weekly) and keep going! It will pay off!
I'll PM to have this post moved into discussions, where I'm sure lots of other members will give their advice0 -
Takes time and effort to get regular wins. You have to remember that thousands of people enter each competition, so your chance of winning is low, but that said, you can look at some peoples signitures to get an example of the hit rate. I have entered hundreds of comps, and won what you see below (2009), mostly little things, but managed a laptop and a watch worth nearly £100 among them.We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0

Thanks. Sorry for posting in the wrong place, typical I get it wrong first time!
I've proabably only been entering a few hundred a week, just working through the ones that interest me that close the following day.
Will look at the regulars, havent been in there yet.0 -

I start each day by going through the Dailies on the Regulars board here (I don't enter all of them - I start with the Sugar comp, then chocolate, panto tickets and a few of the others). I start each Saturday with the weeklies here.
I tend to work through the others as and when (I'm about a lot at the moment, so I'm logging on a few times a day and catching up, but it's just for a couple of weeks!). I only enter what I want or what I can use and have had some amazing wins. In September, however, I only won a Crunchie all month!0 -
