SOD............ So many of us have our problems behind the scenes that are really hard to talk about at home as they affect others around you too. I recently shared my own problem on another forum and found the support and advice I received incredible., I hope you receive the same sort of supprt. I am not encouraging you to post elsewhere INSTEAD of here, but is there somewhere else on MSE that maybe able to give you really practical advice? Someone, somewhere may just have an angle to your problem that you have not thought of before?

THAT is exactly what i meant!!! i just meant that seeing as most of SODs 'friends' dont even post in the inn anymore i didnt see the point in sharing it here ... and that there would be plenty of more suitable forums where she would recieve better advice that is maybe more supportive
and NNW i admitted it was me coz i knew other people were getting blamed... and like has been said i PM'd it to not drafg it out in the inn but if SOD wants the whole world to know her personal stuff then thats fine i just think its a little crazy! oh yeah.... i said she'd be abck to :P !

I think that rather than just ignore everything, for once as long as theres no personal abuse its better to discuss.

I can't really see any attacking going on. Just people being able to comment. SoD is obviously in a very bad place, and chose to share the pm, to show how it upset them. CMC chose to say she had sent it.

Yes pm means private message, but everyone knows that once you hit the send button, then anything could happen :eek:

SOD i came on here to tell everyone it was me coz it seems this whle thing has been a setup to make everyone invlved look bad ( except you of course who im sure is blameless) and i didnt want other Reg's getting blamed... (although anyone who is regular enough to know me would have guessed i sent it! coz my spelling sucks!!) i could have said a lot worse but i didnt coz i was trying to be as gentle as posible! We all know that some of the kinder regs have been trying to help you and they had their gentle efforts thrown back in their faces so i thought a more abrupt approach may help? obviously it didnt. we can drag this out as long as you like everyone knows i wont back down and its not that im shameless i just have more guts them some people.

Unless regs come back and say why they've left then no-one can really know why they've gone. Its not just the Inn through, even the main comps forum feels like its changed/shifted slightly and gone more MSE mainline rough and tumble :eek:, then us in our nice compers corner of MSE . Personally I kinda think its been since Martin has been pushing comping as a way of gaining extra in the emails.

I didn't drop in as much when theres lots of posts as then it was too fast for me. I really miss the funny pics through, always loved then.

FB seems to be taking over lots, and so many of us moved there with Lush, and then scramble went mad, so Twitter started. I just can't even see how threads work with twitter so am completely lost. Have chatted occasionally on FB and enjoy seeing peeps status updates.

think you forgot cmcconnell this started because you choose to send a PM, none of this would of kicked off if you had of just kept your opinions to yourself or just ignored the post. So what if you speak your mind so do i but not when its not my place and nothing to do with me or when somebody is already down its not your place to tell somebody where to post (aint your forum)so get off your high horse!

I agree with nicolefrenzy. It is the principle of the thing, you should never kick someone when they are down ans feeling as if the world doesn't care whether they live or die.

I also stand up for myself and always have done. i am not really a friend of SoD but can sympathise with where she is coming from.

If as you say you can stand up for your self having a go at someone with these sorts of problems is not a way to show it. 'nough said

Off to try and catch up with comps now but can I just say...I love posting in this Inn and found everyone to be friendly. I'd love the Inn to get back to it's usual form of fun, chat, munchy/korky pics, helping other peeps in need of problems..etc.

you better get cracking then hun lol i cannot enter any at the moment find out next week if we are moving house and knowing my luck i will move and some jammy person will recieve a ps3 or summit through the post i am having severe side effects from not comping its sooo addictive;)
