I had a call this evening, someone from Eon saying I'd entered a comp for an iPhone yesterday and that part of the Ts and Cs was that I agreed to have a quote from them.
I don't normally enter comps that don't let me opt out (of them contacting me) so I'm a bit confused.
I can't see any recent iPhone comps that look like possibilities - has anyone else got a similar call? If I can find the comp I'll put a note on it about them calling us back.

and if you have a quote you get through to the second round. Its spam i'm afraid hun there is no competition they just found new ways to try and get you to switch providers x

I wonder where they got my number from - I never enter my home phone number into comp forms and they knew my name.....

I told him (reasonably politely) that I didn't enter any comp which would have meant me agreeing to a quote and hung up.

Hi Demented - a lot of them are on twitter now - over the past months etc there has been loads of !!!!!iness and nastiness - and people just got sick of it.
