I showed my OH the pic...he's petrified of wasps! lol He actually asked if it was real or has someone painted it! Yeah right...I can really imagine cg holding a spider down while she paints it yellow & black! :rotfl: (It must have been his good looks I married him for!

aww, The common name of this beautiful spider is wasp spider. This spider is, like all orb-weavers, not poisonous for us.But while they can bite, the creatures are not poisonous.
The adult female has a shining silvery cephalothorax (head) and a yellowish abdomen with black and white bars across it.
